Flip has really become an intricate part of SalsaCity and has brought joy to our evenings by providing the most important element of Dance, MUSIC! He has develop through out the year as one of the favorite DJ's in the Salsa Scene in Providence. He aspires to be a great DJ by keeping up with the trends and changes that the Salsa world continues to evolve with, always keeping in mind that Salsa stirs up great emotions and brings so much life to the Dance floor. DJ Flip always shines when he is playing music and we are ecstatic to have him as our Musical Director. Stop in sometime over to SalsaCity and meet DJ Flip.

The night starts out with a Dynamic Salsa 90 min. workshop with your Salsalegre Instructors Martin & Sydonee, Next you Dance in our large ballroom style studio where you will develop new moves and styling to your salsa repertoire, Connect & socialize with new and friendly Social dancers from new england , Lounge in our club style personalize tables, Enjoy Drinks and appetizers and dance the evening away with our resident DJ Flip.

Hardcore Salsa Lovers, Casual Dancers and Complete Beginners, are welcomed to enjoy in our Salsalicious event that is set for salseros and salseras to dance, dance , dance.

Liquid Salsa Beginner/Intermediate Workshop

from 7pm to 8:30pm

This class focuses leading/following elaborate combinations known as turn patterns. Students will also be taught how to properly execute multiple spins and how to style their movements.

(Arrive at 6:45pm for registrations)

The salsa social begins right after the lesson, with the
Musical Stylings of our wonderful DJ Flip Dogg
with the entire Salsalegre and SalsaCity Crew.

$15 cover for the Salsa Social Bash, includes drinks and appetizers!
$25 fee for the Dance Instruction Workshop, Includes cover, Drinks and appetizers.

Salsalegre's Dance Academy's Dance Duo

Sydonee Harris & Martin Rivera have been teaching together for the past two years in Providence Rhode Island, as Salsalegre Dance Academy.  They both bring their own personalized and unique style to dance. Specially when it comes to Salsa. As a dance duo, They have creatively executed various innovative dance workshops and classes both inside the dance studio and at local entertainment venues both in Providence and around New England. They blend a multitude of dance techniques and incorporate them in dance lessons that allow many people who take their sessions, to enhance their technique, style and charisma when it comes to Latin dancing.

Currently both specialize in Salsa, and teaching the weekly  All-Levels Latin Classes on Tuesdays at SalsaCity in downtown Providence, and over at Studio One in Lincoln Rhode Island where they offer separate classes, private classes, group classes and Studio Socials monthly with workshops, to students looking for indepth salsa lessons. Sydonee has over twenty years of ballroom and latin dance experience. while Martin has 15 years of Latin Dance experience and Choreography Coaching.  

Both Martin and Sydonee are very passionate about Dance and Latin Dances. They bring a unique balance on the dance floor as dancers and instructors. They are personable and charismatic and love the opportunity to share their love of Salsa with everyone.

Rueda de Casino takes it to the next level by grouping couples in a circle and dancing patterns called by the Rueda leader. It's community salsa dancing at its most fun! Two couples... seven couples... thirty couples...

any number of couples,dancing Salsa in a circle, executing Salsa moves

and dynamically exchanging partners! What a great way to dance salsa and have fun!
