Go Latin Tuesdays with Salsalegre Dance Academy at Studio One
1 hour workshop session followed by 2 hours of Social dance (Practice) time.
Every Tuesday Nite we will focus on a dance style in the workshop (workshops will vary in sessions) aswell as the social dance practica which includes Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha, Rumba & Club-style blends.
Workshops 8pm-9pm
Social Dancing "On the DanceFloor" 9pm-11pm
(note we have 2,300 square feet of pure dance floor space for all you dance socialites)
EVERYONE IS WELCOMED, Expand on your dancing, come socialize, meet new people with the same interests as you.

Bachata Club Style Providence RI
Bachata was born in the dark alleys of the Dominican Republic where broken hearts would go to find love.
Originally, the dance was considered to be scandalous, but throughout the years, Bachata has developed into a very respectful and extremely popular dance recognized a......round the world.
Various styles have emerged, such as Modern Bachata (which usually focuses on patterns) and Dominican or Club-style Bachata (recognized by lots of fancy footwork). Alternative styles have been created by fusing bachata with other dances, The music, however, has stayed true to its origins, still passionately portraying love & Heartache.

enhance your skills as a Bachata dancer in a way that most lessons usually ignore!
Bachata is sensual because partners are so close together. especially if a partner is good at leading clear leads. In bachata club-style, there is definitely more attitude-men are seductive and assertive, women are feminine and playful
The levels are different, if you are doing only basic steps at arm's length, there is no sensuality and frankly no fun.
Develop great leading & following skills, body isolations, rhythmical footwork and sensual arm movements. There are varying degrees of sensuality for all comfort zones.
Dance with passion, emotion, and connection. One of the best things that dancers get from this course is confidence. Boosting one’s confidence on the dance floor does not only end there but stays with one’s personality.
